Upcoming Right-of-Way Schedule in 2024

Our electric system covers more than 3,200 miles, with a large amount of the area being wooded. Since trees and power lines do not mix, our vegetation management program performs maintenance to help reduce outages caused by vegetation and improve safety for those working near or around powerlines. This free service is necessary to ensure delivery of safe and reliable electricity to the homes of our members.

Vegetation maintenance on Wayne-White Electric's distribution system has now been scheduled for 2024. Work will begin in and around the Johnsonville and West Salem areas first. When vegetation maintenance work has been completed in these areas, the contract crews will move on to additional areas that will be identified in future newsletters and on our website.

Letters and automated phone calls have been sent out to all members that are located in the areas that might be affected. If you received a letter or call, tree trimming services may or may not be required on or near your property. If you see crews in the area and did not receive a call or letter, please contact our office to make sure we have your correct contact information on file.

Endrizzi Contracting, Inc. and Nelson Tree Service, LLC will be performing our vegetation maintenance.

If you live near these locations and would like wood chips, please contact us at (618) 842-2196 to be placed on the list.
