Obviously, an underground electric service installation is much more appealing to the eye compared to exposed wires and poles, and it reduces the chances of localized service interruption due to fallen tree limbs, vegetation growth, wind storms, ice storms, etc. You can pay to have existing overhead services converted to underground, in addition to new service installations and add-ons.
