The Southern Illinois Band Wilce n Green is set to provide entertainment at our Annual Meeting on June 12, 2026.
Performing primarily multiple eras of country and southern rock, Wilce n Green have a following across much of Southern Illinois.
The original Wilce n Green band was formed approximately twelve years ago by two friends named Wilce and Green, that were playing at a local restaurant. Different band members have come and gone throughout the years, but the current group has been playing together for the past seven years with the exception of a new bass player last year.
Current band members include Wayne-White Electric member and Hamilton County taxidermist Jody Green on rhythm guitar and vocals. Todd Williford of Thompsonville and owner of Moonlite Pine Event Barn in Williamson County, is on lead guitar and vocals. Jeff Stoffel plays drums and is a backup vocalist from Benton who has been a drummer in several country bands since 1994. His brother Rick Stoffel of Collinsville plays bass guitar.
You can find Wilce n Green the first Saturday of the month at the Wayne City Opry or every second Friday at The Corner Dance Hall in Whittington. They also play several other events in between and love to see their followers line dancing and two stepping to their music.
We hope our members can join us as Wilce n Green takes the stage at Wayne City High School around 6pm at our Annual Meeting on Friday, June 12, 2026.
