Proposed Illinois legislation threatens increased costs for electric co-ops. As a not-for-profit, member owned electric cooperative, this would directly affect our members and their costs as well.
At Wayne-White Electric Cooperative, we encourage our members to be aware of how proposed legislation might affect their bills and to be part of the process in letting our representatives know how we feel. One of the Cooperative Principles is Democratic Member Control and this is a prime chance to let your voice be heard as a cooperative member-owner!
