The Customer Service Representative position provides prompt, courteous, and reliable cashier and receptionist services to member-owners. They analyze, interpret and collect member account information and payments that will provide accurate and timely member account information required for data processing and computer operations.
SUMMARY
Answers incoming calls and assist members. Receives all types of payments over the counter, over the phone, from the mail and from the night deposit box. Answers questions about service and processes appropriate member requests relating to electric service or accounts. Processes various service orders, including reconnecting accounts previously disconnected for non-payment, transferring service, security lights, meter changes, etc. Assists members with all other needs on a first-contact basis. Assists with other clerical duties and in other departments as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Two-year associate degree in a clerical/secretarial or related field or any equivalent experience.
- Cashier experience or prior work experience in a related field.
- Education in Microsoft Office Products.
- Willingness to learn NISC Computer System
