Mailing Delays = Late Bills/Payments

Avoid missing your bill or sending payment in late with PAPERLESS BILLING & AUTOPAY!

We have been notified that local Post Offices no longer postmark mail, which means mailed items are not postmarked until they reach St. Louis for most post offices in our territory. (Local Post Offices are doing what they can with the rules they are given!)

This also means, depending on what time you drop payments in the mail, they may not get transported to the processing facility until the next day. So, if you mail your payment on the due date, it may be late when we receive it based on the postmark. Our policy states that when we receive the payment via mail, we will go by the date the payment is postmarked to determine if it is considered late or not. We do have a one-month grace period for late payments without penalty, but a second late payment or more will receive a 10% penalty added to the total amount due.

Do not be late or risk late fees! We have several options for payments outlined here to keep you on time, every time. You can also get your bill as soon as it is ready to view with our SmartHub app. Sign up for text or email notifications to let you know as soon as your bill is ready to view.

You can learn more and sign up for both through our website at www.waynewhitecoop.com/your-account/payment-options
