Wayne-White Electric Sends Aid to Georgia
Cooperative Principal #6 is Cooperation Among Cooperatives. That means if someone in our cooperative family needs help and we are able, we are there to serve and assist. When Hurricane Helene made landfall, we had crews on their way down south to Georgia, ready to help in the aftermath.
Two different crews worked two weeks each in Georgia helping restore power to tens of thousands of people. The first crew to go down is pictured at left below. From left are Travis Schilling, Clint Harl, Chad Hinkle, Dean Brinson of Planters EMC in Georgia, Cody Richards, Craig Rennier, and Todd Robertson. The second crew to go down, pictured below at right, were: Nathan Coston, Justin Bullard, Ryan Barrett, Dave Vaughan, Donnie Smothers, and Jaxson Crnovich.
