Wayne-White Counties Electric Cooperative is excited to announce that the entertainment for the 2025 Annual Meeting is Whitney Hopfinger and Meghan Barrow. They will bring their acoustic guitars and vocal harmonies to the stage, performing a wide variety of music from every genre and every decade.
As lifelong friends, Whitney and Meghan have been playing guitar and singing together since they were little girls growing up in McLeansboro. Since their late grandmothers were also best friends, they are proud and happy to carry on the family friendship and have added music to the mix of interests.
The duo joined forces in 2016 and have not looked back. You might have enjoyed their performances at the Music in the Park events in McLeansboro on a warm summer night, or you may have heard them singing at their church on Sunday mornings. They can even be seen joined by their children on a song or two at some of their events.
Whitney and her husband Danny have two children, and can often be found on a boat, in the woods, or cheering on their children at any of their sporting events. They have been Wayne-White Electric members since 2011.
Meghan and her husband Justin have five children, are avid runners and are proud homesteaders at Lakey Creek Hippy Farm. The Barrows have been Wayne-White Electric members since 2013.
We hope you can join us and come early to enjoy some acoustic harmonies by Whitney and Meghan on Friday, June 6, 2025, at Wayne City Schools! Don't forget, members that attend will get a $25 bill credit, a gift, a free pulled pork dinner, and a chance to win some awesome prizes at the end of the business meeting!
