Wayne-White Counties Electric Cooperative is seeking qualified applicants to fill the position of Evening Mechanic.
The Evening Mechanic ensures operation of vehicles, machinery and mechanical equipment. Maintains equipment, parts, and supply inventories. Answers questions and requests by having open communications with daytime mechanic and supervisors. Complies with procedures, rules and regulations; completing daily safety and performance forms as required by OSHA. Performs other duties related to maintenance, facilities and warehouse that may be assigned by the Manager of Fleet, Facilities and Purchasing.
Qualifications: Certified vehicle maintenance and hydraulic maintenance certificate or equivalent experience. Must have a valid Class A CDL license or ability to obtain one. Able to lift 100 pounds. Able to work with fellow employees and general public. Knowledge of diesel and gas engines, hydraulics, air systems, wiring schematics, and laws governing safety and environmental requirements.
Salary Range: $42.07-45.78 hourly
