Selective Herbicide Program

Another one of the (4) core ways that Wayne-White Counties Electric Cooperative implements and maintains an efficient vegetation management program is through selective herbicide applications.  WWCEC will complete selective foliar & basil spray applications on 25% of our transmission and distribution system each year.  Therefore, every 4 years, the entire system will be covered.  This will significantly cut the total cost of our right-of-way maintenance.

  Wayne-White has in-house crews of Certified Arborists & Utility Arborists that provide daily vegetation management along the right-of-way of our 3000+ miles of energized lines.  For more information, call 842-2196.
